注：
对于所选择的安装方法，确保按照所显示的步骤顺序进行操作。在每个过程中，必须使用 AIX 来完成某些安装步骤，而其他步骤则必须使用 HMC 界面完成。

步骤 1. 激活和安装分区（在 HMC 界面中执行这些步骤）
- 激活分区，如下所示：
- 将 AIX 6L 卷 1 介质插入受管系统的介质设备。
- 在导航面板中，打开 Systems Management > Servers，然后单击逻辑分区所在的系统。
- 从 Tasks 菜单中，选择 partition，然后单击 Operations > Activate > Profile。
- 选择菜单底部的 Open a terminal window or console session 以打开虚拟终端（vterm）窗口。

- 验证或更改 BOS Installation 设置，如下所示：
- 在 Choice 字段输入 1 以选择 System Settings 选项。
- 在 Choice 字段中输入 1 以选择 New and Complete Overwrite 并按 Enter 键。 注：可用的安装方法取决于磁盘是否已安装 AIX 的先前版本。

- 在 Installation and Settings 屏幕上的 Choice 字段中输入 2，以选择 Primary Language Environment Settings 选项。
- 选择 cultural convention、language 和 keyboard 选项的适当的设置。大部分选项是预定义的组合，但是可以定义自己的选项组合。
- 要选择某个预定义的 Primary Language Environment®，请在 Choice 字段中输入它的编号并按 Enter 键。
- 要配置您自己的主语言环境，请执行下列操作：
- 选择 MORE CHOICES。
- 选择 Create Your Own Combination。
- 当 Set Primary Cultural Convention 屏幕打开时，在 Choice 字段中输入与所选文化习俗对应的编号并按 Enter 键。
- 当 Set Primary Language 屏幕打开时，在 Choice 字段中输入与所选主语言对应的编号并按 Enter 键。

- 在进行所有选择之后，验证这些选择是否正确。按 Enter 键以确认您的选择并开始 BOS 安装。系统在安装完成之后自动重新引导。
- 将分区切换至 Normal Mode，如下所示：
- 右键单击分区概要文件以打开菜单。确保突出显示了正确的分区概要文件。
- 选择 Properties。
- 选择 Settings 选项卡。
- 对于 Boot Mode，选择 Normal。
- 选择 OK 以关闭 Properties 菜单。
- 右键单击该分区以打开菜单。
- 选择 Restart Partition。

- 选择 Set root Password。为分区设置 root 用户密码。
- 选择 Configure Network Communications。 选择 TCP/IP Startup。从 Available Network Interfaces 中进行选择并按 Enter 键。在 Minimum Configuration and Startup 菜单中输入相应网络信息并按 Enter 键。使用 F3（或者 Esc+3）键来返回至 Installation Assistant 主菜单。
- 按 F10（或者 Esc+0）来退出“安装助手”。
- vterm 窗口显示登录提示。
- 输入 vt100 作为终端类型。
步骤 2. 管理分区（在 AIX 环境中执行此步骤）
当安装完成并且系统重新引导之后，vterm 窗口会显示登录提示。
